Sweat to Cool Down With CoreSport Athletic Apparel

By Ashley Troutman @MissAshleyTv · On November 20, 2017

Yes, you read that headline correctly. The more you sweat, the cooler you’ll be when wearing CoreSport athletic apparel.

The company’s athletic shirts and shorts are made with a moisture-activated cooling fabric, so the harder you workout, the cooler you will be. The material features Specific Heat Capacity yarn and bamboo charcoal fibers; with these components, moisture is able to be evaporated quickly.

“CoreSport’s cooling technology is achieved by the joint action of heat, moisture, and air. This technique works when wearing dry clothes. Through intense work or exercise, or sweating during everyday activities, moisture intervention will quickly produce cooling effects. After rigorous testing, our fabric reduces the skin surface temperature by 30%, thus reducing the effect of core body temperature,” the company’s website reported.

The shirt reportedly feels dry even if you’re sweating profusely during a workout and helps with common problems like overly sweaty workout clothes, ultraviolet burn and skin irritations. It’s also odor resistant, antibacterial and increases the number of calories you burn, according to CoreSport.

The company had award-winning athletes from the Barcelona Sporting Club Guayaquil’s football team test the product. About 24 players participated; half wore standard sports attire and the remainder wore CoreSport for an 80-minute test, which measured outer body and core body temperatures. The players wearing CoreSport reportedly had a surface body temperature that was 30 percent lower than the other group. The CoreSport group also experienced a cooler core temperature.

“The technology of CoreSport provides a moisture-absorbing, quick dry and breathable garment, designed to keep you comfortable, fresh and UV protected. This product allows for a longer and more enjoyable workout by removing the downsides to working out,” the company’s website reported.
