The next generation of iPhone products, the iPhone 8, is being unveiled next month! But we’ve got all the latest details about it because Apple’s executives have mistakenly leaked some important details.
According to sources, the new iPhone will have a new OLED edge-to-edge screen, which will replace the physical home button, wireless charging, and likely to come in a new “copper gold” color. Phone leaker Benjamin Geskin, who has been providing a steady stream of iPhone 8 leaks on his Twitter account and in accordance with other reports, says Apple will call this color “Blush Gold.”
Geskin’s tweet included an image preview depicting the front and back of the new iPhone 8 in the new color. His tweet also included details about the new storage models: it is rumored that Apple may bump up the entry-level storage from 32GB to 64GB this year (or only for the more expensive iPhone 8).
Currently, Apple only sells the Jet Black version of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus with 128GB or 256GB of storage. You can’t buy it with the base 32GB.
Apple executives are also expected to announce new iPhones with 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch screens that are supposed to resemble the current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. These new iPhones could possibly have newer components and new glass back design.
With all this exciting news, and more to come next month, it will be interesting to see what Apple will call the new color. Raymond Wong, from Mashable.com, has a poll for people to vote on what they think the new color will be called. We encourage you to get in on the action and stayed tuned for more details about the new iPhone 8!
