Stelle Audio recently sent us one of their mini clutches and I had so much fun with this product! This bag has more functions that any other I’ve had the pleasure of using and would certainly be a great gift for anyone who is fashion forward and has an eye on the tech scene!
While the clutch comes in handy for holding a wallet and keys, its main function is playing music! That’s right, this clutch is also a speaker with a 6-watt digital amplifier. So you can bring the party wherever you go. Plus, it allows you to take phone calls hands-free.
And if you’re out and your phone is losing battery fast, the clutch can charge any USB enabled device. Keep in mind that the clutch itself does have to be charged as well, and has a 15-hour rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
Once you turn it on, a female voice greets you by saying “hello,” and then lets you know when you’ve paired your phone successfully. When someone calls you, that voice will let you know and you can take a call on speakerphone through the clutch or turn the bag off to answer your phone directly. Music will be interrupted by the ring tone, so don’t worry about missing calls while you’re jamming out to your favorite tunes. The call quality is about the same as a typical speakerphone.
The volume is decent, check out the video above to hear it for yourself. I’d say it spans about 50 feet. And the bass was okay too, except when at full volume.
Both the USB and mini-USB ports, as well as the auxiliary-in, can be found on the bottom of the clutch. And this bag is convertible! The product comes with an over the shoulder chain-link strap that’s just under 5 feet and an attachable bangle, so you can wear it as a cross-body bag or wristlet. The clutch itself weighs 3 pounds, so I opted to wear it as a cross-body bag as the weight of it was a bit too much for me when I wore it as a wristlet. However, it may not bother someone who is used to wearing a lot of bracelets. The clutch also comes with a cleaning cloth for the interior mirror and a mini-USB cable along with an auxiliary-in cable.
